LI : Summarise main events. LI : Summarise the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
This week for we reading, we read Mrs Spider’s Beautiful Web by Beverley Randell with Miss Tele’a. When we read we had to use : chunky monkey thumbs or stretchy snake if we got stuck. We were practising how to summarise. Summarise means using little words or not that many. We had to summarise the story into beginning, middle and end. I told my group what to write for the end of the story. Then we had to put a spider we liked at the end. Here is our work :
